I went to the Museum of Moving Images after work

I almost had tears in my eyes from the beautiful renovations. And for the 600th time, I went through all of the exhibits and they added new sections to it. One of which was the ORIGINAL SCRIPT to TAXI DRIVER (what a coincidence). The page of the script was opened to the scene where Travis makes his handmade devices for his guns and he practices in front of the mirror. It said something along the lines of "Travis looks at his Palentine poster and sees nothing but himself" there was a a note on the side that I couldn't understand, maybe it was to cross it off. It also said something about him changing shirts and trying on western clothing while standing in front of the mirror. Thank god that was crossed out.

They also had scripts of Network (with it's infamous "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!") and an episode of Seinfeld (When Kramer convinces everyone in the building to put a portrait of themselves in the lobby so everyone can say hello to each other by name)
Then I went to the costume section and they added new stuff as well like the costumes from the new HBO mini-series Mildred Pierce
(with Kate Winslet and Evan Rachel Woods)
The museum also had the prosthetic legs (scene with Winona in the hospital) and a Natalie Portman model neck extending device (from the scene where she chokes herself in the dressing room and her neck extends).

But the best part of the new addition was the boxing gloves Robert De Niro used in Raging Bull *dies inside*.

Totally visiting again next month.
